CFW9 Filter Wheel
for ST-7/8/9/10/2000 Cameras

The CFW9 is essentially the same size and shape as the former CFW8A to match the ST series camera body. They are difficult to tell apart by simply looking at them. When bolted to the front of an ST-7/8/9/10/2000 camera, it forms an integrated system capable of automatically taking a sequence of several images through color, photometric or narrowband filters. The CFW9 gets its power and commands directly from the camera (a short cable plugs into the I2C port on any ST-7/8/9/10/2000 with USB electronics) so there is no extra power cable, communication cable or additional software needed for fully automatic operation. The CFW9 has the same 1" backfocus requirement as the former CFW8A and it accepts five 1.25" filters. The CFW9 weighs less than one pound (14.7 oz). Please note, however, that since the CFW9 uses I2C port on USB cameras, it is not compatible with earlier model cameras with parallel electronics.
